Square Footage of Facility: 106,000 sq. ft on 15.26 acres and employs 140 people.
Design and manufacturer of loader buckets, excavator buckets, backhoe buckets, mining buckets, hydraulic and mechanical couplers, excavator material clamps, hammer brackets and other construction equipment attachments bearing the CF, Wain-Roy, Gannon and BMP names.
The original facility was located in Schofield, WI and opened in 1969 as Central Fabricators. CF was owned by the Milanowski family until 1999 when it was purchased by Woods Equipment Company. In March, 2007, Woods Equipment consolidated both the Schofield, WI and Gardner, MA operations into a newly constructed state of the art facility in Kronenwetter, WI.
Kronenwetter is one of Wisconsin’s newest and fastest growing villages. It was incorporated in 2002 making it one of the largest villages in Wisconsin, measuring 52 square miles. The village of Kronenwetter is a beautiful, safe, and growing community with over 6,500 residents. The Village of Kronenwetter links the City of Mosinee to the growing Cedar Creek shopping and entertainment destination area.
The crime rate is low, traffic congestion is minimal, and by car you are minutes away from your choice of natural wonders or performing arts. The 5,000 acre forestry unit in southeast Kronenwetter provides excellent hiking and equestrian trails, as well as snowmobile trails in the winter. The Wisconsin River and Rib Mountain State Park are also nearby and provide a beautiful, scenic setting for year round recreation.
Kronenwetter is 10 minutes away from the Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA). Three airlines provide 16 flights per day which connect through Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit and Milwaukee.
